Choreographer
Bio

JUSTIN GREER’s career as a performer, swing and dance captain has prepared him in multiple ways to choreograph. His organization and clarity in teaching material come from many years’ experience as a swing. His ease of delivery and respectful demeanor were learned as a dance captain for four Broadway productions. He has learned from the best in the business, and infuses his choreography with humor and joy; always in service of the narrative and the lyric. Recent productions include Little Shop of Horrors, The Ghosts of Versailles at Wolf Trap Opera, and Shrek the Musical with 3D Theatricals. Upcoming productions include The Rape of Lucretia at Wolf Trap Opera, Shrek the Musical with Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, and the American premiere of L'opera Seria, also at Wolf Trap Opera.

He extensively lectures and has held master classes in audition techniques, dance, acting, music and performance. He holds an MA in Educational Leadership, Politics and Advocacy from New York University, a BFA in Vocal Performance and Theatre from Carnegie Mellon University and a partial master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Hunter College. He currently resides in Sarasota, Florida and New York City.
